Bauhaus was the first style to led to surrealism. Bauhaus was found by Walter Gropius and he was an architect the Bauhaus during the first years of it's existence did not have an architect department. The second style to led to surrealism was Art Deco. Art Deco is an influential visual arts doing styles that appears in the face after WW1 and really flourishing internationally in the 1920's and the 1930's.
